Announcing the Predictify Widget and Trackback Button
We are excited to announce that as of today, we are launching two major products that will allow you to connect to Predictify from your blog, webpage, or favorite community site to relevant questions on Predictify. First, the Predictify widget allows you to leverage our prediction engine on your own site by simply embedding a couple of lines of code into your HTML. It looks like this:
Every Predictify question page now contains a link to an embeddable widget, but if you are interested in embedding a link attached to a relevant keyword instead of a specific question, you can do that too. Here is an embed that links to the keyword of my home state: Texas (Yee Haw!):
The second major release we are announcing today is the Predictify trackback button. This button, available in about a dozen different shapes, sizes, and colors, allows you to post a simple button next to any relevant content. When a user clicks on this button, our relevancy engine returns a number of relevant results to your content and the user can pick which fits best.
Once any user connects a button to a question in this manner, we will automatically post a trackback on our page to yours! Just like Digg, we keep track of how many people have connected the button to the post and the button with the most trackbacks will always appear at the top of the listing, providing trackback traffic to your blog, page, or post. Here is what one version looks like with the keyword of "Predictify"
Go ahead and click the button and see what happens!
