Crowd Wisdom: New & Improved

With our redesigned home page comes a slew of improvements and enhancements. One is the vastly expanded amount of "crowd wisdom" that we can display each day.

In the past, we were limited effectively to 20 new crowd data items per day. As of today, there are 40 -- some brand new, others updated -- that dynamically cycle onto the home page five at a time.

Here is a sampler of some of the data appearing in "crowd wisdom" on today's home page:

Delta.queen * 84% predict Congress will pass legislation to save the legendary Mississippi River Boat, "Delta Queen."

* 61% predict that Citi Bank will back out of its stadium naming rights deal with the New York Mets by the end of the year.

* 2,285 words will be the published length of Barack Obama's Inaugural Address.

* 69% predict same-sex marriage will be restored in California by 2010.

* 42% predict Congress will pass a new national health insurance program next year.

* $55.63 million will be the opening weekend box-office take for "The Day the Earth Stood Still" remake.

(Clicking on any of these headlines takes you to the question, where you can join the party by adding your prediction!)
